Course Objective and Decription
This course involves the study of the social, political, and economical development of the United States from 1783 through the present day. The content allows the students to understand historical events and the roles of individuals within them. Major historical events are studied, but the influence of geography, economics, society, culture, politics, science and technology on historical events will be emphasized throughout the course. Assessments will vary. Project learning will be primarily used, but students will also be administered traditional test and quizzes.
